The Amazing Improv Piano-Playing Chatroulette Guy

And this week in viral videos: the amazingly talented, delightfully entertaining (I just lectured my writing students last week on avoiding adverbs, so there you go), and infinitely watchable improv-piano-playing Merton.

Along with three million, eight hundred forty-six thousand, six hundred and sixteen viewers–at last count–I watched this YouTube user interacting with strangers on ChatRoulette.

Merton is quite the quick-thinker, and it’s fun to watch watchers watching him as he improvises to the streaming images on his computer screen. Fun stuff.
